John Bowen, Jr.
Senior Vice President
John is the Senior Vice President of Aspera Insurance Services. He's a proud JMU graduate who started his career in insurance in 2004. He joined Aspera in 2020 after spending ten years as an underwriter and division manager for our sister company. In his spare time, you can find John rooting for his sons in every sport they're playing this season or listening to Tyler Childers. His favorite vacation spot is anywhere there's a cold beer and somewhere to put his feet up.

PERSONAL

Heather Mawn
Assistant Vice President

Heather is the Division Manager of Personal Lines at Aspera Insurance Services. She's a proud Villanova graduate and first started her career in insurance in 2012. Heather has been an integral part of the Aspera team since 2016.

Phillip Brinkley
Product Manager

Phillip is a Product Manager in the Personal Lines Division at Aspera Insurance Services. A VCU alumnus, he's been in insurance since 2011 and with Aspera since 2015. In his free time, you can find Phillip cheering for the Washington Commanders or the VCU Rams. He also enjoys a relaxing beach getaway with his family, especially to Topsail or the Outer Banks.

Anna D'Antonio
Associate Underwriter

Anna is an Associate Underwriter in the Personal Lines Division of Aspera Insurance Services. She graduated with a Masters in Teaching from VCU in 2014. She loves how the insurance world, much like teaching, brings unique challenges to solve each day. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, antiquing, and weekend beach/mountain adventures with her family.

Jesse Pittard
Associate Underwriter

Jesse is an Associate Underwriter in the Personal Lines Division at Aspera Insurance Services. She graduated from VCU with a mathematics degree and started her insurance career in 2024. In her free time, you can find Jesse playing rugby and badminton, hiking, or training for her next race.

Brenin Renzette
Associate Underwriter

Brenin is an Associate Underwriter in the Personal Lines Division at Aspera Insurance Services. After graduating from CNU, he moved to Richmond and started his insurance career with Aspera in 2024. Brenin is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and a food enthusiast, and in his free time, he’s usually trying new restaurants in the area, watching movies, or seeing a show at one of Richmond’s many live music venues.

Kyle Flynn
Business Development Manager

Kyle is the Business Development Manager at Aspera Insurance Services. Kyle has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry and joined Aspera in 2022. On the weekend, Kyle wishes he was in Pigeon Forge with his family and following the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Steven Yavorsky
AVP, Marketing
Steven is the Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Aspera Insurance Services. His JMU degree and 20+ years of marketing experience bring a unique approach to marketing insurance. Steve relies on his family to help him recharge when he is away from the office to bring fun ways to keep the Aspera name in front of insurance professionals. His hobbies include running, tennis, basketball, exploring new cities with his wife, and finding ways to incorporate more purple and gold into the world — Go Dukes!
Holly Cline
Marketing Analyst
Holly is the Marketing Analyst for Aspera Insurance Services. She's a proud JMU graduate who first jumped into the world of insurance with Aspera in 2022. Outside of work, Holly enjoys rooting for the Baltimore Orioles, listening to the music of Andrew McMahon, or reading her favorite book, "The People of Paper" by Salvadore Plascencia.

Anna is the Content Writer and Marketing Specialist at Aspera Insurance Services. She joined the Aspera team in 2024, bringing 20+ years of creative experience with her. She’s a University of Virginia grad who loves to travel, wishes she had more time to read, and spends as much time as she can with her three daughters.
