Receive a Fast and Accurate Quote Following These 4 Tips

Posted on January 17, 2023

At Aspera, we have a reputation for delivering quick quotes and providing excellent service to our agents. However, there are always ways you can help us turn around quotes even quicker.

Here are four tips you can follow when submitting businesses to help us return accurate quotes to you as quickly as possible:

1. Provide all the documentation necessary upfront.

The sidebar on the right side of each product page on our website lists the submission requirements we need for that kind of account. Make sure you submit all the documents and forms required for the most seamless quote experience possible.

2. Tell us what your client is looking for.

Even when you include all the documentation, our brokers and underwriters may have lots of guesswork to figure out your clients’ operations and what coverage they need. Including a short narrative describing your client, their needs, and the product(s) they are looking for can go a long way in shortening the back-and-forth before receiving a quote.

The narrative can help us get you a quality, refined quote the first time around.

3. Get all the information the first time directly from the insured.

It’s hard to anticipate all the questions you’ll have for a client, and sometimes you can’t get them on the phone or in your office long enough to get everything you need. We recommend having the application in front of you during your time with a client to ensure you get all the relevant information.

If a question arises that you didn’t anticipate and they aren’t around, don’t leave it blank or guess. Call or email your client and get that answer before sending it in so we don’t have to change it later in the process.

4. Be patient!

Aspera is committed to responding to every inquiry we receive. Responding to extra emails asking the status of a quote prevents us from working on delivering quotes.

Please be patient – our team members work as quickly as they can, and response times can be limited simply by capacity.
